Noblesse

MapleSEA: Unlike standard characters, you can create your Knight of Cygnus after getting to level 20 or above and then talking to Ninehearts the Tactician in Ereb. The character that you use to create the Knight is known as the "parent" character. You are allowed to customize the appearance of your character before it is created. You cannot create a Knight of Cygnus if you have no free character slots.

The 5 Instructors
Beginning

Once you start your Cygnus character, you start in Ereb instead of the usual Maple Island. New players are given a special overall robe, a badge which identifies you as a Knight of Cygnus, and a hat. Quests in Ereb are simple, just like in Maple Island, but required to get to first job. Remember to do all of Kiku's quests.

Once your Cygnus character reaches level 10, talk to Ninehearts who will direct you to your 5 job masters. Speak to one of the following:

First Job

After completing all of Kiku's training and having reached level 10, you can choose your next job

Soul Master

Soul Masters are champions that boast powerful offensive strength. Although not a warrior, they use the spirit of light to enhance their weapons.

  • Level 10-16: Slimes and Orange Mushrooms are your best bets. Go to the town of Ellinia, and go north two rooms to "The Tree That Grew 1." There are lots of slimes there that give 10 experience per kill. Try to join a party with at least 3 active members as even though you get less experience from killing monsters by yourself, it will be easier to level up because party experience is coming in all the time. Henesys Party Quest for all levels is good too.
  • Level 17-19: Now is where it begins to become a challenge to level up. If you believe that you are strong enough, you could kill Pigs (15 experience per kill) or Ribbon Pigs (20 experience per kill). Another alternative is stumps and octopuses (and mushrooms) just south of Kerning (in Kerning City Construction Site map). They may not give the best exp, but they are quick and easy to kill. They (the mushrooms and pigs, that is) can be found about one or two rooms left of the Henesys Hunting Ground 1. If you plan to kill Pigs over Orange Mushrooms, I suggest you have some backup money to pay for potions. Another great training area is the Rain Forest East of Henesys. There are many pigs and ribbon pigs there.... almost like pig beach. You could also party with at least 3 maplers and go to an Ellinia Danger Zone and take shifts in killing hornies.
  • Level 20-24: Congratulate yourself for getting to level 20! Now you can buy weapons and armor that you couldn't purchase before, and kill Pigs with insane ease. Now you are in for one heck of a challenge. Go to Pig Beach.
  • Level 25-29: Now is the time to go to Ellinia Dungeon Stalks in the rooms near Ellinia. Here you will find Green Mushrooms(gives 26 exp) and Horny Mushrooms(35 exp), which is just what we are looking for. Again, bring many potions, as you will be spending much time here. Also by level 27 it might be an idea to fight wild boars in Perion. Hp loss will be pretty high because the boars are fast and they take a lot of health. Dexterity should be somewhat high to hit them constantly. Another option is to go to the Evil Eye Cave at lvl 27-28 if you've got a LOT of money to spend.

Flame Wizard

Flame wizard’ high intelligence and the horsepower of fire among the most powerful wizard with the spirit of fire, the magic of a wizard are used. Department of a wide range of fire and fire magic, as well as to see a monster, a monster hit of the property, they will be a bigger change.

  • Level 10-13: Slimes and stumps at the map south of Ellinia will work wonders with your exp, you better have magic bolt handy in case a mob comes by. NEVER go up to the top, the monsters up there will make you a bowl of instant KO, alternatives include HHG and the sniping shots in Thicket around the beach II
  • Level 13-20: At Lvl 13 with Max MP Increase maxed and new armor and weapon choices, the octopi at Kerning can be added into the hunting list, if you stay on the ramp and use magic claw lv 5 then its magic defense wont really matter. At Lvl 20, with Magic Claw (MAX), one can handle green mushy, Horny mushy and maybe even dark axe stump effectively. You could go to mushroom forest in Zipangu and go crazy on the mushrooms there. Pig beach would also be as effective.
  • Level 21-30: At Lvl 21, Kerning Party Quest is available, and as a Magician, one will be invited readily for the quest. If you get bored of Kenning Accompaniment, you can try the Ariant Coliseum, available in versions with Ariant. You could stay on the green and horny mushies. Or you could go and destroy Jr sentinels in orbis tower by using the off-land sniping spots! Great money and good exp if you start at an early level! In GMS, go hunt the nearby normal cactus's and kill them for 47 EXP! At lv 27 go kill green trixters and not take damage because they always move vertically! Level 28-30 go crazy on teddies (normal) or flower fishes. You should have a good time like you should if you follow these instructions. (Unless your version doesn't have aqua road or ludi, then go with your gut.)

Wind Breaker

‘Wind breaker’ by using the arrows are the archers who are attacking from a distance. They use wind energy to a wider variety of activities gongryeok hameun into a hero and a hero, of course, also can be used only to use a powerful bow to skills.

LevelRecommended Monsters
1-12Kiku the Knight Trainer's Quests (Green Snails, Blue Snails, Red Snails, and Shrooms).
13-16Slimes and Orange Mushrooms, Moon Bunny PQ
17-20Early DS archers: Pig Beach (pigs and ribboned pigs) and Moon Bunny PQ. Early CS archers: Slimes.
21-25Green Mushrooms, Horny Mushrooms, pigs and ribboned pigs, Wooden Masks and Ghost Stumps (found at excavation site near Perion); Kerning PQ.
26-30Horny Mushrooms, Green Mushrooms, Zombie Mushrooms,

Crows, Wild Boars are also options, as well as Rocky Masks (found at the excavation site near Perion). Consider doing some Kerning or Ariant PQs, as they give some pretty nice exp. Be careful, archers have a high maximum damage but also have a really low minimum, which makes them unpopular.

Night Walker

Night Walkers use fast and powerful attacks that use the darkness to their advantage. They are enhanced with the element of poison.

  • Level 14-16: Go up the levels of Henesys Hunting Grounds. HHG 3 is generally the best open empty spot. Since it is very difficult to find pigs in numbers without the ribbon pig alongside it go and travel across all towns except for Perion and kill everything killable. Another good leveling location is the map East of Kerning City, where you can easily kill Octopus and Green Mushroom, giving you quick EXP, although be sure to stock up on potions! Leveling should be extremely fast if you're funded with kumbis or better.
  • Level 17-19: Pig Beach. Your level 10 lucky seven is enough to kill pigs in one hit and ribbon pigs in two, and while it's not extremely profitable, you won't lose money, and will gain some from the occasional drops. And yes, nobody can ks you, not even a mage. WARNING: The very irritating Iron Hog will spawn in Pig Beach occasionally. So watch out! If you managed to aggro it, cast Disorder if you have it.
  • Level 20-24: If you're going for the poor build, continue at Pig Beach. Training is going to get slower now, but bear it for now. If you're maxing Lucky Seven early, then go ahead and kill Green Mushrooms, and hope that the ever-elusive pan lid drops.A Better alternative is the Bubling monster in Kerning subway Line 1 they give the same EXP as green mushrooms but with relatively NO KSers.
  • Level 25-30: Green Mushrooms, or Horned Mushrooms at ant Tunnel. The former is more profitable, the latter is quicker, although you will lose money. You could also try Jr Sentinels, but it is not recommended. Zombie Mushrooms are also an alternative if you have Kumbi or better, as you can easily 2HKO them with Lucky 7. If not, stick with Horny Mushrooms. Wild Boars can be an option too if you seriously think you have enough money to burn on potions, and boars move quite quickly, which is more challenging.

Striker

Strikers are melee fighters who are blessed by the spirit of lightning. They use knuckles as their main weapons, but although they have a short range, their skills are very powerful compared to the standard infighter.

  • LVL 1~10:Kiku's nobless trainings.
  • LVL 10~13:Kiku's beginner knight training.

Maple pirate info

Beginners

Being new to Maple means that you will need some guidance. In this case, you will raise a future Pirate, meaning that you will need correct stats. As you will see further, the most necessary attributes for this job would be the STR and DEX, INT and LUK can be left at 4 or 5. If you want to build a Gunslinger, it is to consider getting the highest DEX when building this char. Meanwhile, if you try to build an Infighter is up to you to get the most STR at it's creation. Remember that you need 20 DEX to advance as a Pirate.

Pros

  • Very fast attackers, nearly as fast as Rogues.
  • Interesting abilities, as well as getting a mob attack during first job.
  • Gunslingers can hover in the air for a short period of time.
  • In first job, pirates have a useful dash ability that can accelerate movement speed.
  • In the Brawler job, the user has physical mob attacks.
  • Brawlers have more HP than Bandits and more MP than warriors.
Cons

  • Gunslingers do low damage.
  • A little bit difficult to get used to, very different than other jobs.
  • The Float ability is not so useful if trying to get out.
  • The pirate equipment is a little bit expensive for a beginner.
  • Brawlers lack the mobility of Bandits, and also must be closer to attack.

Thief

BEGINNER

Thieves are a complicated class, and for maximum effectiveness, the player must set up the right stat build quite early. Ever since the update, you can no longer choose your stats, so just do your best to get to the right stats.

Pros

  • Both bandits and assassins get some cool and useful skills such as Savage Blow, Haste, Assaulter, Triple Throw and Flash Jump.
  • Have the second highest avoidability and accuracy after archers.
  • Assassins can take out mobs efficiently with Avenger.
  • Assassins are extremely mobile and have good range.
  • Both are good at bossing at 4th job.
  • "DEXless" assassins can easily hit the highest damage of all classes between levels 20-70.
  • Thieves are popular choices in Party Quests
Cons

  • Low HP and MP, getting 2-hit-killed by monsters at high levels.
  • Assassins (especially "DEXless" ones) are comparatively unpopular due to their stereotyped KSing.
  • Very unstable damage until mastery in 2nd job.
  • Good stars and armours are extremely expensive. Claw and Dagger ATT scrolls are some of the most expensive in the game.

Requirement: Level 10, with 25 DEX

Proceed to the Thieves' Hideaway at a basement of a cafe in Kerning City. In there, you'll find the Dark Lord. Talk to him, and you'll be advance as Thief if you've the requirement stats.
